Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area 30th Anniversary Golf Open Raised Tens of Thousands of Dollars to Benefit its Mentoring Programs, Recognizes Generous Sponsors and Golfers

30th Anniversary Golf Open success continues to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area’s Mission

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 3, 2015 — Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area (BBBSNCA), the Washington D.C. metropolitan area’s life-changing, One-To-One® mentoring organization, is proud to announce its 30th Anniversary Golf Open held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at TPC Potomac, resulted in tens of thousands of dollars raised. The funding will continue to support and provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, One-To-One® mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

BBBSNCA extends their gratitude to over 30 sponsors and the 108 golfers of the 30th Anniversary Golf Open for helping make a large difference in the lives of children in the greater Washington area. “As the new CEO of BBBSNCA, I am honored and humbled to have carried on this great tradition,” Michael J. Sanzi, President and CEO of BBBSNCA said. “I wish to thank our many sponsors, golfers and staff members who made this fantastic event possible.”

In addition, the NFL Player’s Association helped make the event a great success by donating NFL items to the cause. BBBSNCA raffled off multiple prizes including a signed Rob Gronkowski jersey.  A special congratulations to the Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher foursome for taking home the first place trophy!
