Day of Service

On Saturday, July 25th Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Building Positive Futures Program participated in a “Day of Service” project at the DC General Family Shelter. This event featured community partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Ministry of Motivation, Rhode Island Ave. Home Depot, Realize Your Potential – American Univeristy, SOUL, and Game Truck.

Projects included beautification and clean-up project where youth could earn community service hours; clothing donation for residents; Game Truck for youth; cook-out and music!
