Pollo Campero Donates to BBBS

Pollo Campero, the world’s largest Latin chicken restaurant chain, donated $3,884 as a partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. The partnership was to launch its new boneless chicken item – its “Little Brother,” Camperitos.

This check was a percentage of Camperitos sales from March 31st – April 13th in the greater Washington area to support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission.

“We’re flattered that Pollo Campero would choose to host a fundraiser in our honor,” said Denise Williams, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. “It is donations like these that help us serve more children and families. We invite everyone to come try Camperitos.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area plays a critical role in meeting the needs of the Latino community through our Hermanos y Hermanas Mayores Program. Our Latino Outreach Initiative seeks to help every Latino household who needs or wants a Big Brother or a Big Sister.

“We’re very excited to launch Camperitos in the United States, and we’re even more excited to announce our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said Stuardo Aja, senior director of operations at Campero USA Corp. “Family is important to our culture and Big Brothers Big Sisters’ volunteers do an excellent job making their Little Brothers and Sisters feel like family. We could not be prouder of partnering with such a prestigious organization.”
