Denise M. Williams

Denise M. Williams assumed the position of Interim President and CEO as of January 2014. She was formerly Vice President of Programs and has worked at BBBSNCA since 1991.

As Vice President of Programs, Denise was part of the team that helped BBBSNCA see the largest growth in its history of programs and staff. BBBSNCA has been recognized both nationally and locally as a high-performing mentoring organization with a strong record of program innovation.

Ms. Williams was recognized as “Manager of the Year 2001” by Big Brothers Big Sisters’ National Professional Association. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources, Family and Community Development from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.

“My vision,” said Ms. Williams, “is to again serve thousands of children and their families with our life-changing mentoring programs throughout the greater Washington region.” She also said she hoped to strengthen BBBS services and its presence in communities across the region.
