In Schools School-Based Mentoring
Big Brothers Big Sisters In Schools School-Based Mentoring puts caring volunteers in the lives of children in need. To serve more boys and girls, Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to establish “volunteer rich” partnerships, which engage mentors from corporations, civic groups, high schools and colleges, faith-based groups, the military and service clubs.
Carefully selected Big Brothers and Big Sisters volunteer in a carefully chosen elementary or middle school and see their Little Brothers or Little Sisters one hour a week during or after the school day.
We invite corporations, civic groups and others to support our efforts throughout the national capital region so we may expand our school-based program.
