  • Run for Kids/Marine Corps Marathon and 10K
    October 26th, 2008:
    For the last nine years, 100% of all Run for Kids Team members who trained with us, whether as first-timers or returning runners, have completed the Marine Corps Marathon! Some have qualified for the Boston, Chicago, New York or other marathons. Our Run for Kids Marathon Challenge Team members run the 26.2 miles of the MCM and individually commit to raising $1,200 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. 2008 is our 11th year and we are adding the 10K as an option. By finding donors to sponsor their runs, they enhance their own marathon experiences and help a great cause - Big Brothers and Big Sisters! Training runs with certified coaches are held from May through October.
